About the project
This frame has had its outer edge water-gilded in 23K gold which was then gently distressed to reveal the red bole beneath. I have used it to frame one of my own paintings in readiness for the Nottingham society of Artists Autumn Exhibition which runs from 18th to 26th October at St Lukes House, Friar Lane, Nottingham.
